Justin Kirstein

Justin Kirstein has a varied work experience. In 2019, they worked as a Sales Associate for Sun Diego Boardshops. In 2021, they were an Intern for BPS Bioscience Inc. and a student in the Protein Biochemistry Lab Class and Organic Chemistry Lab Class at UC San Diego. In 2022, they are currently a Research Associate for Alida Biosciences. During their Organic Chemistry Lab Class, they practiced safe laboratory techniques in a group setting, operated and manipulated lab equipment and glassware set-ups, completed processes to purify and identify chemical compounds, carried out acid-base extraction of caffeine, and synthesized chemical compounds using knowledge of multiple chemical mechanisms.

Justin Kirstein attended Mira Mesa High School from 2013 to 2015, followed by Plano Senior High School from 2015 to 2017. Justin then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacological Chemistry at UC San Diego from 2017 to 2021.
