Marek Xu has over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. Marek is currently working as the Principal SoC digital design engineer at Alif Semiconductor since December 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Micron Semiconductors as a Senior ASIC Design/Verification Engineer from December 2017 to November 2019. Marek also held the position of Senior II. IC Design Engineer at Starkey Hearing Technologies from April 2015 to November 2017. Before that, Marek worked at Texas Instruments where they served as the MCU Design Team Lead, leading the design and integration of the MSP430FR4133 microcontroller. Marek was also responsible for power management and system control modules. During their time at Texas Instruments, the successful release of the MSP430FR4133 to the market was achieved. Before joining Texas Instruments, they worked as a Staff IC Design Engineer at Freescale Semiconductor from 2006 to 2011. Prior to that, they were an IC Design Engineer at ARCA Technology from 2002 to 2005 and a Hardware Design Engineer at Sumavision Technologies from 2000 to 2002.

Marek Xu obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Automation from Beijing Jiaotong University, studying from 1996 to 2000.
