Lina Larsson

Head of ESG at Alight

Lina Larsson began their work experience in 2007 as a Cashier at ICA, where they demonstrated strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Substitute Teacher at Hofors Kommun, gaining experience in preschool and elementary education and developing strong interpersonal and patience skills. In 2011 and 2012, Lina worked as an Industry Sanitizer at Coor Service Management, performing physically demanding cleaning work in the steel industry and gaining insight into production processes. In 2013, they had a summer job as an Assembler at SKF Group, focusing on fitting, measurement, and inspection of roller bearings. At Linköping University in 2014, Lina worked as a Study Mentor, providing guidance and support to new students in the engineering program. In 2015, they completed their Master's thesis at Zanrec, investigating the design of a recycling system for used cooking oil in Zanzibar. Lina also joined Alight in 2015, starting as a Project Manager and later becoming the Head of ESG in 2021. As the Head of ESG, they are responsible for overseeing environmental, social, and governance initiatives within the company.

Lina Larsson's education history begins in 2006 at Björkhagsskolan, where they obtained their Gymnasieexamen in naturvetenskap (Natural Science) from 2006 to 2009. Lina then enrolled at Linköping University and pursued a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, which they completed from 2013 to 2015. Simultaneously, they also obtained a Degree of Master of Science in Engineering Energy-Environment-Management with a specialization in Environmental Technology from the same university, spanning from 2010 to 2015. In 2014, they attended the Warsaw University of Technology for a term as part of a student exchange program.
