Meredith Popolo has a diverse work experience across various companies in the technology and media industries. Meredith started their career as an Editorial Intern at Harper's Bazaar in 2009 and later worked as an Intern at the Kitchen Appliances and Technology Lab in Good Housekeeping, under Hearst Magazines. In 2011, they joined PCMag.com as an Assistant Features Editor and was later promoted to Associate Features Editor.

In 2014, Meredith worked as an Associate Editor at Knock Twice, where they produced branded content for Google's digital marketing website, ThinkwithGoogle.com. Meredith also collaborated with the art team for site design needs and coordinated localization efforts for regional content.

In 2016, they joined Trustly, a fintech company, as the Head of PR, Communications & Sustainability. In this role, they developed and executed the global PR & Communications strategy and integrated the sustainability strategy into the company's overall strategy. Meredith was also responsible for managing relationships with advertisers and publishers. Additionally, in their role as Senior Content Strategist at Trustly, they oversaw the brand voice, website content, and marketing campaigns.

In 2022, they worked as a Consultant at Arcadia, a tech company focused on empowering energy innovators, where they contributed to unlocking energy innovation by creating access to energy data needed for decarbonization.

Currently, Meredith is working as a Communications Director at Alight, a company that offers solar-as-a-service to the commercial sector. The company aims to transition to a renewable energy future and achieve an installed capacity of at least 5GW by 2030.

Meredith Popolo pursued their education at Syracuse University from 2007 to 2011. There, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on Magazine Journalism, Entrepreneurship, and Emerging Enterprises. In 2023 to 2024, Meredith furthered their education at Harvard Extension School, where they earned a Master of Liberal Arts degree in the field of Sustainability.
