Abel Gonzalez

Abel Gonzalez currently serves as the VP and OC/LA Business Unit Leader at Align Builders, a position held since July 2025. Prior to this role, Abel was the Executive Vice President of Operations for the West Coast Region at Suffolk Construction, where leadership focused on strategic growth in the Life Sciences, Healthcare, and Institutional markets from July 2023 to July 2025. Abel also held the position of Senior Director of Construction Operations for the Western Region at CRB from June 2020 to July 2023, overseeing construction growth and integration with design and engineering. Previously, from February 2013 to May 2020, Abel was the Business Unit Leader for Southern California at DPR Construction, responsible for customer relationships and business operations within that region. Abel began a career at Rudolph and Sletten as a Senior Project Executive, managing complex projects in Southern California from December 1995 to January 2013. Educational qualifications include a B.S. in Construction Management and Civil Engineering from California State University, Chico, earned between 1990 and 1995.
