Sean Wawrzkiewicz

Sean Wawrzkiewicz has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in finance and accounting. Sean is currently working as the Vice President Controller at Align Credit Union since August 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Treasury Analyst at Massachusetts Municipal Wholesale Electric Company (MMWEC) from May 2022 to August 2023. Sean also worked as a Finance Manager and Senior Staff Accountant at Scan-Optics from March 2021 to April 2022 and as an Entertainment Finance Manager at MGM Springfield from July 2019 to February 2021. Before that, they held positions such as Tax/Title 31(AML) Supervisor and Analytical Accountant at Talking Stick Resort from April 2012 to April 2019. Sean started their career as a Staff Accountant at DriveTime from March 2005 to October 2006 and as a Senior Accountant at PEM Real Estate Group from October 2006 to November 2007.

Sean Wawrzkiewicz obtained a Diploma in General studies from North Brookfield High School in the years 1994 to 1998. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's of Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1998 to 2004. In 2018 to 2019, Sean attended Grand Canyon University and earned a Master's of Science degree in Accounting. Additionally, they obtained certifications in "Acting Decisively" and "Learning from Failure" from LinkedIn in October 2019.
