Mamadou-Abou Sarr

Mamadou-Abou Sarr is the founder and president of V-Square Quantitative Management at Align Impact. Mamadou-Abou has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on venture capital and growth equity investing.

Sarr began their career as a financial analyst at InterMountain Canola and DNA Plant Technology. Mamadou-Abou then joined Hamilton Lane in 1994, where they became a managing director and responsible for venture capital and growth equity fund investing globally. Sarr was also a member of Hamilton Lane's investment committee and responsible investor committee.

In 2019, Sarr joined Bancroft Group, LLC as an advisor. Mamadou-Abou then became a director at Grasshopper Bank in May 2019. At Grasshopper Bank, Sarr works with venture capital firms and the companies they invest in.

Sarr has been a member of many advisory boards, including JMI, Spark, Summit, TA, TCV and TPG Growth.

Mamadou-Abou Sarr has a MBA from William & Mary and a BS from Trenton State College.
