Alvan Tan is a highly experienced professional in continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma methodologies, currently serving as the Global Director Of Continuous Improvement at Align Technology since August 2017. Prior to this role, Alvan held positions at Shell as APME Continuous Improvement Coach and at Ecolab as Regional Supply Chain Manager / Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, where the focus was on lean transformation and developing improvement talents. Alvan's earlier experience includes significant roles at DXC Technology as Senior Regional Business Improvement Manager / Asia LSS Master Black Belt, and at Seagate Technology as Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, contributing to training and mentoring initiatives across the APAC region. Alvan holds a Master’s degree in Material Science Engineering from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
