Marcelo Siqueira

Marcelo Siqueira is an experienced Expert C++ and Computational Geometry Engineer at Align Technology since December 2018, focusing on research and solutions for geometric problems. Prior to this role, Marcelo served as a Senior Software Engineer at Velo3D and held academic positions at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte and Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul, where extensive research on geometric modeling, computer graphics, computational geometry, and digital topology was conducted. Marcelo also worked as a Visiting Research Scholar at the University of Florida and as a part-time lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania, teaching various computer science courses. Marcelo holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, along with a Master's Degree from USP - Universidade de São Paulo and a Bachelor's Degree from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte.
