Ming R.

Ming R. has extensive experience in engineering and process optimization, currently serving as Manager of Scale Up Engineering at Align Technology since July 2021, where responsibilities include leading a team focused on tech transfer and process scale-up. Prior to this role, Ming R. was a Senior Scale Up Engineer, overseeing monomers and oligomers process development and raw materials sourcing at the same company. Previously, at Bayer, from January 2014 to July 2021, Ming R. held positions as Senior Research Engineer and Senior Chemical Engineer, focusing on process development, optimization, and significant capital project investments. Ming R. also gained practical experience during a Process Automation Internship at Monsanto and worked as a Machinery Engineer at WorleyParsons. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arizona and a Master's in Process Equipment & Control Engineering from East China University of Science and Technology.
