James Rubin has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. James is currently a Board Member at BoxPower and CleanFiber. Previously, they served as a Board Member at Fifth Avenue Private Equity and Real Assets Funds, Bessemer Trust, and OneTeam Partners. In 2022, they became the Chief Investment Officer at Aligned Climate Capital, where they focused on decarbonizing the global economy and infrastructure. From 2019 to 2023, James was a Board Member at AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust. James held the CEO position at Meridiam NA from 2018 to 2021, investing in greenfield public-private infrastructure projects. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Director of State Operations for the Office of Governor Andrew M. James Rubin attended Harvard University from 1989 to 1993, earning an A.B. degree in History. Following this, they enrolled at Yale Law School from 1990 to 1993 and obtained a JD degree with a focus on Law.
