John Wideman

John Wideman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in information and cyber security. Currently serving as the Director of Information and Cyber Security at Aligned Data Centers since April 2025, Wideman previously held the position of Director, Global Information Security and Governance at Argon Medical Devices, Inc., overseeing global risk assessments and compliance programs across multiple regions. As the owner of FIRST BASE CYBERSECURITY LLC, Wideman focuses on providing essential IT and cybersecurity services to small businesses. Earlier roles include Information Security Officer at Pinnacle Propane, Sr. Manager of Data Security and Compliance at Brinks Home Security, and various project management positions spanning multiple industries. Wideman holds a BBA in Computer Information Systems from Baylor University and an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Finance from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas.
