Michael Hardesty

Michael Hardesty, PE, is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Aligned Data Centers. They previously held positions as a Mechanical Engineer at Black & Veatch, where they specialized in the design of HVAC and plumbing systems for mission-critical infrastructure and led projects for data centers. Earlier, Michael worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Tesla, focusing on large-scale systems for production facilities. They began their career as a research assistant at the University of Pennsylvania, contributing to HVAC system design in collaboration with Ph.D. students. Michael earned both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Architectural Engineering from Penn State University.
