John Zemonek

John Zemonek has an extensive work experience in the technology industry. From 2021 to present, they have been the Managing Director of Aligned Technology Group, helping organizations navigate their journey to cloud and enhance their security posture. Since 2019, they have been the Founder & Director of Catching For Kids, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization raising funds to offer more opportunities to children who enjoy the outdoors and fishing. John is also a Board Member at North Carolina Technology Association (NC TECH) since 2022. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Sr. Manager - Intelligent Cloud & Infrastructure at Accenture. From 2018 to 2019, they were the Co-Founder & Chief Fisherman at Boat Builders Trading Company, a sportfishing and lifestyle apparel company. From 2015 to 2018, they were a Client Executive at Sirius Computer Solutions, Inc. From 2013 to 2015, they were the Regional Director and Senior Solutions Consultant at TierPoint (formerly Windstream Hosted Solutions). From 2011 to 2013, they were the Business Development - Technology at Resolvit. From 2010 to 2011, they were the Business Development at Proxsys LLC. From 2005 to 2010, they were an Intern - Same Day Surgery at Rex Hospital.

John Zemonek has a degree in Biology Business Management with minors in Economics and Entrepreneurship from North Carolina State University. John has obtained numerous certifications, including ZSA - Foundations & Phone from Zoom in June 2022, VSP - VMC on AWS from VMware in January 2021, AWS Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2019, VSP-NV from VMware in July 2016, NPSS and NPSR from Nutanix in March and February 2016 respectively, Citrix CCSP in December 2015, Zerto Certified Professional and Zerto Certified Sales in July 2015, and VSP from VMware in April 2013.
