Cherie Olea has a diverse work experience in healthcare. Cherie started their career as a Territory Sales Manager at Cardiac Science, specializing in selling automated external defibrillators and working closely with hospital and corporate administrators. Cherie then moved on to Instromedix, where they worked as a Regional Sales Manager, responsible for sales, installation, and clinical training of cardiac software and monitoring devices.

Afterwards, Cherie joined Hospira as an Anesthesia and Critical Care Specialist. In this role, they trained district personnel on brain function monitors and intra-cardiac catheters, and developed a curriculum for a ventilator weaning course. Cherie continued their career at Boehringer Ingelheim, working as a Clinical Science Consultant and Certified Field Trainer, specializing in pulmonary and cardiovascular education for healthcare providers in the Los Angeles area.

In 2011, Cherie pursued further education and completed a Family Nurse Practitioner Residency at Kaplan University's CareMore Comprehensive Care Clinic. Here, they provided care for Senior Medicare Plan patients with chronic diseases such as diabetes, CKD, wounds, HTN, CHF, COPD, and obesity.
