Hakan Kardes

Hakan Kardes is the chief technology officer for Alignment Healthcare, a health care services company focused on providing population health management services to health systems and provider groups around the country.

He oversees data, technology, and artificial intelligence (AI) strategy and execution, delivering best-in-class patient outcomes and experiences. In this role, Mr. Kardes is responsible for data management, engineering, architecture, data science, and AI.

Before joining Alignment, Mr. Kardes was vice president of data science and advanced analytics at Cambia Health Solutions, where he headed up the Data Science, Engineering, Product, and Analytics division. He provided strategic direction for Cambia’s data strategy and contributed to its transformation from a traditional health plan to a consumer-centric total health solutions company. Before joining Cambia, Mr. Kardes was a principal data scientist at Intelius and was responsible for building their proprietary data and insights engine that powers over 80% of the people's background search market in the United States.
