Bassam Al Sayed is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and banking. Currently serving as Chief Investment Officer at Alinma Investment Company since April 2012, Bassam leads the Asset Management team to enhance asset performance and maximize ROI. Prior experience includes Vice President at Al-Tawfeek Financial Group, where responsibilities included structuring mutual funds, and Manager of Investment and Mutual Funds Department at Al Tawfeek Company for Investment Funds, focusing on sharia-compliant investment tools. Early career roles include Investment Specialist at Dallah Al Barakah Group and Manager of Consultation and Training Programs Department, alongside foundational accounting experience at Al Rajhi Company. Bassam earned a Ph.D. in Islamic Economics from the University of Wales in 2005 and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from King Abdul Aziz University.
