Chris Pratt

Chris Pratt has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as General Manager for Technology Partner - Trading & Portfolio Management in Power Generation & Development at Alinta Energy since October 2017, following a series of roles including General Manager of Spot Trading and Team Leader of Spot Trading. Prior to Alinta Energy, Chris held various leadership and trading positions at Origin Energy from September 2007 to October 2017, including Team Leader for DDPL Scheduling and Short-Term (QLD), as well as Senior Energy Trader for both QLD and SA/NSW markets. Chris also served as Principal Market Analyst at VENCorp from July 2006 to June 2007, focusing on complex market design issues. Educational qualifications include a Masters of Commerce in Economics & Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Deakin University, complemented by completion of the Victorian Certificate of Education at Melbourne Grammar School.
