Sarah McNamara

Sarah McNamara currently serves as the Executive Director of Corporate Affairs, Governance, and Sustainability at Alinta Energy since May 2024. Prior to this role, Sarah held prominent positions at the Australian Energy Council, including Chief Executive and General Manager of Corporate Affairs, from January 2016 to May 2024. Additionally, Sarah worked as Chief of Staff for the Minister for Industry and Science and served as a Senior Policy Advisor in the Office of the Prime Minister from October 2013 to January 2015. Sarah's career in government affairs includes experience as the Head of Government Affairs at AGL Energy from May 2008 to October 2013. Educationally, Sarah completed a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) at the University of Melbourne, followed by a Graduate course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2020.
