David Kuraguntla

CEO & Co-Founder at Alio Medical

David Kuraguntla is the CEO and Co-Founder of Alio Medical. Prior to their current position, they served in the United States Air Force from July 2008 to July 2014. Their previous company was the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) from May 2004 to March 2006. There, they developed a novel live-cell confocal microscopy technique to study the dopamine transporter function, kinase pathways and drug interactions. David also interned with the National Science Foundation from May 2003 to August 2003, where they received a grant to perform physical organic synthesis on propellane and its derivatives.

David Kuraguntla's educational career began with a BS in Biochemistry from Grove City College. David then went on to get their Master's from Boston University School of Medicine before finally becoming a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine.
