Tom Zhang currently serves as Senior Director of Business Development at Alipay.com, focusing on expanding the company’s operations in the US and European markets since August 2013. Previously, Tom held the position of Senior Director of Search, P4P, and Traffic Acquisition at Alibaba.com from October 2011 to August 2013, where responsibilities included developing a comprehensive ecosystem for search monetization and traffic acquisition. Tom also served as Senior Director of Search at Taobao Marketplace from September 2008 to October 2011, where efforts were directed towards creating the leading shopping search experience. Earlier in Tom's career, roles at Yahoo! included Senior Product Manager and Business Unit Head of Search from January 2004 to January 2008, overseeing product development and strategic planning for Yahoo! China’s search products. Tom holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from Beijing University Of Aeronautics & Astronautics, completed in January 1992.
