Yang Song has extensive experience in multimedia technology and hardware research and development. Currently serving as Director at Ant Financial since May 2016, Yang leads the Multimedia Technology and Hardware R&D Departments. Prior experience includes a managerial role at Huawei from February 2011 to April 2016, overseeing the Media Engineering Lab, and a position as Video Architect specializing in H. 264/HEVC Encoder/Decoder design. Yang's career began as a researcher at Fujitsu Lab from April 2008 to January 2011, focusing on video codec research and design, following a visiting research associate role at Waseda University. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from Waseda University, a Master's in Computer Science from Tsinghua University, and a Bachelor's in Computer Science and Business English from Xi'an Jiaotong University.
