Amr Elbasiony

Amr Elbasiony is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering within the medical device and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as the Executive Vice President of Software Engineering at Aliph Medical, Amr contributes to the mission of delivering superior patient care. Previous roles include Director of Software at Aquyre Biosciences, Sr. Manager in R&D at IBM Watson Health, and Software Architect at Alcon, among others. Amr's expertise encompasses the development of diagnostic and imaging software, as well as algorithm design for various medical applications. Educational qualifications include a PhD and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Alexandria University.
