Matthew Skrzypczyk has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the technology industry. Matthew started as a System Administrator at Allstate in 2014, where they debugged software and upgraded computing systems. In 2015, they interned as a Financial Operations IT Intern at Motorola Mobility. Matthew then joined HERE as a Software Engineer in 2016, where they developed and maintained a distributed pipeline processing system. At QuTech in 2018, Matthew worked as a Software Developer Intern, designing and implementing the first link layer protocol for quantum networks. Matthew also worked at Technische Universiteit Delft as a Research Assistant from 2020 to 2021, collaborating in an agile environment to design and implement a platform-independent operating system for controlling quantum networking hardware. Currently, Matthew is working at Aliro Quantum as a Software Engineer.
Matthew Skrzypczyk received their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2016. Matthew then pursued their Master of Science in Computer Engineering with a focus on Quantum Information at Delft University of Technology, graduating in 2020. Currently, they are studying for their Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Engineering (Quantum Information) at Delft University of Technology, a program they are expected to complete in 2024.
