Tracy Charlton

Associate Director, Antibody Discovery at AlivaMab Discovery Services

Tracy joins AlivaMab Discovery Services with over 16 years of experience in leading biotherapeutic drug discovery programs from inception to clinic. She has particular expertise in establishing and executing on innovative strategies to generate antibodies against challenging protein targets. Tracy has extensive experience in hybridoma technology, biochemical and biological assay development, molecular biology, recombinant protein production, and protein engineering, including antibody affinity maturation and humanization. She has led multiple diverse projects in Oncology, Immunology and Metabolic Disease.

Prior to joining AlivaMab Discovery Services, Tracy was at The Genomics Institute of the Novartis Research Foundation (GNF) where she served as project team lead for biotherapeutic projects, driving them from early stage discovery to pre-clinical trials. Tracy received her MS in Molecular Biology and Population Genetics from Portland State University and her PhD in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from the University of British Columbia.
