Frances Doehring currently serves as the Chief Nursing Officer at Alive Hospice, a position held since February 2018. Prior experience includes the role of Director of Patient Safety at Infirmary Health from January 2014 to January 2017, where Frances led the development of a system-wide Patient Safety initiative across five hospitals, achieving an 80% reduction in serious safety events over four years. Frances began a nursing career as a part-time Emergency Department Registered Nurse at Thomas Hospital from 2003 to 2005. Frances earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Emergency Room/Trauma Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama.
