Rex Hsu

Rex (Chin-ming) Hsu is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in mobile application development, particularly in iOS. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at AliveCor Inc., since September 2019, Rex leads the iOS team and is responsible for developing the AliveCor EKG recording SDK for developers. Previous roles include Mobile Engineer at Yahoo, where Rex developed an interactive video streaming app and mentored iOS developers, and Senior Software Engineer at Polyvore, where contributions included building the iOS team and creating prototypes for market validation. Additionally, experience at GREE International Entertainment involved leading an outsourced team to develop the company's first native iOS game using Unity 3D, while earlier roles at Rocket Mobile Inc. and Pronto Games Inc. focused on maintaining projects and adapting games for different platforms. Rex holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
