Mark Veldon

Mark has over 20 years experience in consulting and industry. He leads AlixPartners’ Enterprise Improvement community in the UK and co-leads the Private Equity (PE) practice across EMEA. He has a particular focus on large cross-border company transformations and has extensive experience in Europe and Asia across a range of sectors such as industrial products, oil and gas, consumer goods, business services and pharmaceuticals. He works extensively in PE, working with sponsors and companies in M&A transactions (operational due diligence, post-merger integration and/or carve-out) and value creation/ execution in manufacturing, procurement, and SG&A optimization, along with undertaking interim management roles. Mark started his career in industry at GE in various operational roles in Europe, Asia and the US, and holds a Masters in Finance from Princeton University and degrees in Business Studies and Operations Management from Aberdeen University.
