Michael Horrell is an accomplished data science professional with extensive experience across various roles and organizations. Currently serving as Director of AI & Data at AlixPartners since July 2024, Michael has previously held positions including Staff Data Scientist at SentiLink and VP of Data Science at Quantium. At Uptake, Michael contributed significantly as Head of Data Science and in other capacities related to data science. Michael's academic background includes a PhD in Statistics from the University of Chicago, where studies were completed from 2010 to 2015, as well as a BA in Mathematics and Economics from Grinnell College. Michael has also participated in research and internships that focused on evaluating trauma centers and producing data visualizations to enhance hospital performance.
