Sai Prasad Devarakonda is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as the Engineering Director for Data, AI, and ML at American Express since November 2023, following a role as Sr Business Intelligence Technology Leader at Amazon from November 2022 to October 2023. Previously, at American Express from April 2015 to November 2022, Sai Prasad held positions as Platform Architect & Project Leader in Enterprise Business Intelligence and Marketing Platforms, as well as Senior Engineer & Project Leader for the Network Data Platform. Earlier experience includes a tenure at Tata Consultancy Services from March 2006 to April 2015, where Sai Prasad led a global team as BI Vertical Lead & Senior ETL Architect and managed various projects and teams. Educational qualifications include a certification in Data Science and Big Data Analytics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2019 and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from JNTUH College of Engineering Hyderabad, completed in 2005.
