Hector Mijares has over 19 years of experience in the engineering and project management field. Hector began their career in 2001 as an Embedded Software Engineer at Indra. In 2008, they moved to the UK and worked as a Senior Software Engineer at SeeByte, Senior Engineer - Team Lead at BitWise Ltd, and Senior Software Engineer (UK) - Contractor at Selex Galileo. In 2009, they returned to Indra as a System Engineering Manager and a4ESSOR Programme Director. That same year, they also took on the role of Freelance Consultant at Cass Business School. In 2016, Hector became the Enterprise PMO Manager at Solera Global Data & Content. In 2017, they assumed the position of Director Of Engineering at Orbital Critical Systems. Finally, in 2018, they joined ALIZENT as Global Customer Service Director and Country Manager (Spain), and later as PMO Director.

Hector Mijares has a diverse educational background. Hector obtained their Executive MBA from Bayes Business School in Strategy and General Management from 2009 to 2011. Hector also obtained their Electronic Engineering degree from Universidad de Alcalá in Networks and Telematic Systems (ICT) from 1999 to 2002. Additionally, they obtained a Telecommunications Engineering degree from Universidad de Alcalá in Electronic Control Systems from 1995 to 1999. Hector also obtained an Electronics Engineering degree from Universidad de Alcalá in Telecommunications & Electronics Engineering in 2001. Hector Mijares also has additional certifications, including an Expert Scrum Foundations certification from EuropeanScrum.org - Scrum and Agile with European Accreditation in March 2018, an Expert Scrum Master certification from EuropeanScrum.org - Scrum and Agile with European Accreditation in March 2018, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from Project Management Institute in November 2012.
