Amanda Buchanan

Amanda Buchanan is a senior development scientist and entomologist at ALK, a position held since May 2018, specializing in the production of source materials for allergen immunotherapy, particularly focusing on house dust mite products. Prior experience includes roles as a postdoctoral research associate at Michigan State University, where research centered on agroecosystem management and integrated pest management, and at the University of Maryland, focusing on sustainable agriculture and pest management in organic agro-ecosystems.
