Benoit Lehallier

Benoit Lehallier has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Senior Director of Data Science at Alkahest, Inc. since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Data Science at the same company from September 2020 to June 2022.

Before joining Alkahest, Inc., Benoit worked at Stanford University, first as a Neurology faculty - Instructor from October 2018 to September 2020, and previously as a Postdoctoral Fellow from July 2013 to October 2018. During this time, they collaborated with Roche on various research projects related to aging and the brain, utilizing proteomics, GWAS, microarray, RNA-seq, imaging (MRI, PET), clinical scores, and behavior data.

Additionally, they completed an Internship in Biostatistics at CNRS in 2006, where they studied the effects of anthropization on the morphometric differentiation of animal populations.

Benoit Lehallier's education history begins with a DEUG in Biology from the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne, which they earned between 2002 and 2004. Benoit then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biology at the University Henri Poincaré, Nancy 1 from 2004 to 2005. Following this, Benoit obtained a Master's degree in Biostatistics and Modeling from the University Paul Sabatier Toulouse III between 2005 and 2007. Benoit then went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biology/Neurosciences from the University Blaise Pascal (Clermont-II) - Clermont-Ferrand from 2008 to 2011. Finally, Benoit's education culminated in a Postdoc fellowship in Computational Biology at Stanford University, where they studied from 2013 to 2018.
