Chidam Kumar

Chidam Kumar has a diverse work experience in the field of clinical data management. Chidam is currently working as the Director of Clinical Data Management at Alkahest, Inc. since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb as an Associate Director of Clinical Data Standards from November 2019 to July 2021.

Before joining Bristol-Myers Squibb, Chidam held various roles at Celgene, starting as a Senior Manager of CDSI from October 2015 to March 2018, then promoted to Associate Director of CDSI from April 2018 to July 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Manager of CDSI from February 2012 to September 2015, and as a Senior DM from April 2009 to February 2012.

Chidam also gained experience at sanofi-aventis as a CDM from August 2008 to April 2009, and at Novartis as a CDM from 2005 to 2008. Chidam began their career at The Cancer Institute of New Jersey as a CRRS from 2000 to 2005. Overall, Chidam has a strong background in clinical data management, holding various leadership positions throughout their career.

Chidam Kumar completed their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in Medicine at Government Kilpauk Medical College from 1987 to 1993. Following this, they pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Public Health from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey from 1998 to 2000.
