Alkali Environmental is the UK’s foremost environmental consultancy, operating a UKAS & MCERTS-accredited laboratory (No. 24303) and recognised as a national authority in air emissions monitoring and environmental compliance.

We are specialists in air quality assessment and stack emissions testing, delivering end-to-end environmental compliance and permitting support. From major power generation facilities to complex construction and industrial sites, we support clients across the UK, Ireland, and internationally—ensuring regulatory compliance, preventing costly project delays, and meeting the most demanding Environment Agency requirements.

Our consultancy team includes former Environment Agency officers, nuclear environmental engineers, and senior emissions specialists, offering clients exceptional technical precision alongside unrivalled regulatory insight. Every monitoring programme, permit application, and compliance report is produced to the highest professional standard and engineered to withstand regulatory scrutiny.

At Alkali Environmental, clients gain more than compliant results—they secure a trusted strategic partner. We remove regulatory complexity, eliminate compliance risk, and provide the clarity needed for projects to proceed with certainty and confidence.

We pioneered a sector-specific approach to environmental compliance, enabling organisations to rapidly identify and meet their precise regulatory obligations. In addition to nationwide on-site testing across the UK and Ireland, we support international clients remotely through secure digital platforms, delivering expert consultancy, robust data interpretation, and clear compliance guidance.
