James Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering and business development within the refractory and materials industries. Currently serving as the Global Director of HPI & Thermbond Technologies at ALKEGEN since January 2022, James previously held leadership positions at Unifrax I LLC, where responsibilities included Global Engineering Director for Thermbond and Engineering Director for Thermbond Refractories. Prior to that, James was Vice President of Engineering at Stellar Materials, focusing on innovative refractory solutions, and Business Development Manager at Stellar Canada, overseeing the North American sales team.
