Marco Calloni started their work experience in 2008 at CERN as a User Supporter and Developer, where they focused on troubleshooting problems in the GRID system for LHC particles accelerator data analysis. Marco also handled user support, maintained code, and presented on their competence area.
In 2010, Marco joined Unicredit Global Information Services as a Middleware System Programmer. Marco worked on designing and implementing functionalities for system monitoring and governance purposes in web applications. Marco utilized Java Servlet/PL-SQL for the backend and Javascript/JSP for the frontend.
From 2012 to 2014, Marco worked at Lutech as a Business Intelligence Analyst. Their responsibilities included developing SAS code for reporting on a large-size data warehouse. Marco was also in charge of requirements analysis, implementation, and maintenance.
At Reply, Marco worked as a Business Intelligence Consultant from 2014 to 2022. Their role included being a Credit Risk SAS Specialist and working in the development team handling information flows between health companies, hospitals, pharmacies, and the regional government. Marco used SAS and Java technologies in this role.
Currently, in 2022, Marco is a Data Engineer at Alkemy enabling evolution.
Marco Calloni pursued their education in computer science from Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca. Marco completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from 2002 to 2006. Later, they obtained their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree (Laurea Specialistica) in Computer Science from the same university from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Marco Calloni obtained the certification of "[PCAP-31-03] PCAP – Certified Associate in Python Programming" from the Python Institute in February 2022.
