Filip Roos is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic analysis and trade marketing, currently serving as a Strategic Analyst Out of Home at Alken-Maes since October 2020. Prior to this role, Filip held various leadership positions at Brouwerijen Alken-Maes NV, including Head of Controlling Out of Home, Head of Trade Marketing On-Trade, and Business Information Manager, from February 1999 to October 2020. Filip began a career in the industry at Belfius as Kantoordirecteur from 1994 to 1999 and had earlier roles at ADT, CIPE NV, and Palm Brouwerij. Academically, Filip holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Economics from the University of Antwerp, where studies were completed between 1988 and 1992, and also attended Sint Michiel from 1982 to 1988.

Alken-Maes is the winning game changer on the Belgian beer market. Alken-Maes’ rich history and its continuous evolution have led to products which are strongly rooted in tradition and craftsmanship. Alken-Maes consists of three breweries, a cidrerie and a maltings plant. Together with the main shareholder, Heineken, the Alken-Maes management is developing the strategy to create value and market share growth for the second biggest brewer and runner-up in the Belgian beer market.
