Koen Gijsbers

Koen Gijsbers is an experienced system engineer currently working at Alken-Maes since March 2022. Prior to this role, Koen served as a system engineer at KU Leuven's Department of Physics and Astronomy from November 2020 to March 2022. Koen's extensive career at Simac spanned over two decades, from August 1999 to August 2020, where various roles included system engineer in cloud services, account engineer, and professional services engineer, along with responsibilities in facility management and outtasking. Koen holds a Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) certification and has expertise in implementing and supporting Microsoft Windows NT Workstation 4. Koen obtained a degree from Groep T - Internationale Hogeschool Leuven, completing studies between 1994 and 1999.
