Anthony Hutchinson

Anthony Hutchinson, PhD, serves as the Director of Scientific Communications in Medical Affairs at Alkermes since August 2018, having progressed through various roles including Associate Director and Manager in the same department. Prior to Alkermes, Anthony was a Senior Medical Writer at MedThink SciCom from November 2015 to August 2018 and an Education and Diversity Coordinator at Hauptman-Woodward Medical Research Institute, where professional development programs were launched across multiple universities. Anthony's postdoctoral research at the University at Buffalo focused on behavioral regulation mechanisms, resulting in multiple published articles, and earlier work at the University of Arizona contributed to the understanding of neuroprotective processes and oncogenic pathways. Anthony holds a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Arizona and a BA in Psychology from Berea College.
