J Michael MacPhee

J Michael MacPhee is a seasoned professional in the field of process and pharmaceutical chemistry, currently serving as Senior Director at Alkermes since May 2016. With a career spanning over two decades, J Michael has held various leadership and scientific positions, including Director and Department Head of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and Principal Scientist at Alkermes. Prior experience includes roles at Biogen from January 2010 to April 2016, where J Michael progressed from Scientist I to Senior Associate Scientist, and at Transform Pharmaceuticals, a Johnson & Johnson Company, as a Senior Associate Scientist. J Michael holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Rhode Island and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Providence College.
