Jeff Olney

Jeff Olney currently serves as a Senior Medical Science Liaison at Alkermes since February 2020. Prior to this role, Jeff held the position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Michigan from June 2016 to February 2020, conducting research on the neural substrates of emotion with a focus on addiction, depression, and schizophrenia. Jeff also completed a PhD in Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2011 to 2016, specializing in behavioral neuroscience. Earlier academic experiences include research on alcohol use disorders and chemosensory systems as a graduate student at both the University of North Carolina and San Diego State University.
