Pete Mustonen

Pete Mustonen serves as Senior Director of CMC Leadership at Alkermes since July 2012, having progressed through various leadership and scientific roles within the company. Prior to Alkermes, Pete Mustonen was a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Berkeley and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, focusing on magnetic resonance imaging techniques and instrumentation design under the mentorship of Prof. Alexander Pines. Earlier experience includes positions at Johnson & Johnson and Transform Pharmaceuticals, where Pete Mustonen led high-throughput chromatographic analysis and analytical method development. Pete Mustonen holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from UC Berkeley and an AB in Biochemical Sciences from Harvard University.
