Sandra Westerman

Sandra Westerman is an experienced professional in policy advocacy and government relations, currently serving as the Director of Policy & Government Relations at Alkermes since February 2016. Sandra has a robust background in intergovernmental relations, having previously held the position of Director of Intergovernmental Relations at Hennepin County Sheriff from October 2007 to February 2016. Sandra's experience also includes serving as Vice President of Public Affairs at the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce, where strategic public policy goals were directed, and managing business development initiatives. Earlier in Sandra's career, roles included Regional Vice President of External Affairs at SBC, Government Relations Representative at US Bank, and Director of Government Affairs at TwinWest Chamber of Commerce. Sandra holds a Juris Doctor degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from the University of Minnesota.
