Irtaza Hassan Sheikh

Irtaza Hassan Sheikh currently serves as the Regional Head of Internal Audit for Alkhorayef Petroleum Company in Kuwait since July 2024. Prior to this role, Irtaza held various positions at Alghanim Industries from March 2013 to July 2024, including Internal Audit Manager, Assistant Manager/Senior Internal Auditor, and Group Internal Auditor, where responsibilities included overseeing audit engagement planning, risk assessment, and control evaluations. Irtaza began a career in auditing as an Associate Auditor at Ernst & Young from December 2010 to February 2013. Academic qualifications include ACCA, BSc (Hons) Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, and certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Management Accountant.
