Mamdouh Alawfi

Mamdouh Alawfi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in auditing and finance, currently serving as the Head of Global Internal Audit & Risk at Alkhorayef Petroleum Company since June 2023. In this role, Mamdouh manages the full audit cycle, focusing on risk management and compliance, and provides independent advice to ensure operational effectiveness. Prior to this, Mamdouh held the position of VP of Finance at a Confidential Government entity and has held various roles including Head of Internal Audit at ACWA Power and Internal Audit Section Head at Maaden. With a career spanning over a decade, Mamdouh has a strong background in governance, risk management, and financial strategies, having previously worked at prestigious firms such as EY, PwC, and Deloitte.
