Cameron Richards

Cameron Richards is a Software Engineer with a diverse range of work experience. Cameron currently works at Alkira, Inc. since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Liberty Mutual Insurance from 2020 to 2022, where they held various roles including Associate Infrastructure Engineer and Technology Associate. In these roles, they designed and implemented infrastructure for vendor products in the AWS cloud, created reusable Ansible templates, and developed access management tools for efficient and secure app running. Cameron also interned as a Software Engineer at Liberty Mutual Insurance in 2020, where they implemented authorization protections and created new database initialization methods. Before that, they were an Undergraduate Researcher at Purdue Computer Science Department from 2018 to 2019, where they planned and organized the development of systems-level projects and led efforts to incorporate significant changes to support libraries. In 2018, they interned as a Software Engineering Intern at Aptiv, where they managed the development of an Android application and developed innovative embedded software. In 2017, they interned as a STEM Education Intern at The Works, where they created curriculum and designed robotics exhibits for elementary and middle school students.

Cameron Richards earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Purdue University, where they studied from 2016 to 2020.
