Misbah Rehman

Misbah Rehman has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over a decade. They started their career as a Student Assistant in the Telecommunication Lab at the University of Colorado at Boulder. In this role, they were responsible for setting up a new lab, installing and testing Ethernet cards on routers, and performing IOS recovery and backups.

After completing their education, Misbah joined Level 3 Communications as an Intern in IP Planning. Following this, they worked at CenturyLink as a Lead Architect in the IPTV Test and Development group. In this role, they were responsible for architecting, configuring, and testing routing solutions for video delivery in a multi-vendor environment.

Misbah then joined Cisco Systems as a Sales Systems Engineer, where they gained experience in sales and technical support. They later moved to Viptela as a Senior Systems Engineer, specializing in systems engineering for networking solutions.

They continued their career at Cisco as a Senior Manager of Technical Marketing and Solution Architecture for SD-WAN, where they played an important role in marketing and solution architecture. Their most recent position is at Alkira Inc, where they serve as the Director of Technical Marketing and Compliance.

Throughout their career, Misbah has acquired a wealth of knowledge and skills in technical marketing, solution architecture, systems engineering, and compliance.

Misbah Rehman obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Telecommunications from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2007-2008. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Karachi University from 2002 to 2005.

In terms of additional certifications, Misbah Rehman obtained the CCIE - Routing and Switching certification from Cisco in February 2015. They also have certifications in CCIP and JNCIA - Junos, but the institution and specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
