Sudarvannan Sivakumar is a software engineer with extensive experience in the tech industry. Sudarvannan started their career as a Lead Engineer at HCL-Cisco Systems in 2002, where they worked on enhancing the ICAP Proxy's functionality and improving its stability. Sudarvannan then joined Calsoft - Nortel Networks as a Technical Consultant in 2006, focusing on the sustenance of Nortel VPN gateway software and fixing customer issues.

In 2007, Sudarvannan worked as a Performance Test Engineer at Trend Micro before moving on to Ericsson in 2008. At Ericsson, they held multiple roles as a DevTest Engineer, Sr. Devtest Engineer, and I & V Tech Lead - NFV. In these positions, they were involved in a range of activities such as test planning, coordinating/leading teams, and driving the I & V teams in terms of scoping and functional coverage. Sudarvannan also played a key role in designing and developing cloud orchestration, virtualization platform frameworks, and SDK enhancements.
