Vanessa Plant

Vanessa Plant serves as the Executive Director of the ALKU Foundation, where a commitment to driving impactful change is evident through fostering strategic collaborations with nonprofits across Massachusetts, particularly focusing on youth initiatives and women-centric programs. Previously, Vanessa held the position of Director of Philanthropy at Boston Scores, leading development strategies and managing a $2 million revenue base to support program growth. Experience also includes serving as Director of Development and Partnerships at Mass Mentoring Partnership, where responsibilities encompassed grant management and fundraising efforts, as well as leadership roles in event-related fundraising. Earlier career roles include Director of Development at ALS Therapy Development Institute and various positions in youth support and project management. Vanessa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Latin American Studies from UMass Boston.
